The aim of Hand in Hand preschool is to provide a warm, safe, caring environment where children can develop through play to their full potential, supported by a Key Person. We value the involvement of all parents in the preschool regardless of race, culture or religion.
The preschool was recently inspected by OFSTED and we were given grading of good overall and outstanding in the area of use of resources. We have just received the I Can accreditation which means the staff are competent at developing children's language skills.
All the staff are fully qualified and we have very good staff ratios.
The preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum up to and including Foundation stage one. We have a selection of excellent resources and a small outdoor play area.
The preschool provides for children aged 2½ to 4+. We are open Monday to Friday from 9.30-12.30. We charge a very competitive fee for children under 3. The term after a child's 3rd birthday they are funded by the government and are entitled to five free morning sessions per week.
