Acts of Kindness Foundation

The Acts of Kindness foundation offers, through practical gifts and help, love and kindness to vulnerable women. We operate on the principle of grace, offering help with no strings attached.

A few examples of the kind of things we have done are:

Our aim is that all the women benefited by Acts of Kindness are made aware of how precious and special they are.

A few comments from women we have helped:

"I felt quite decadent. The girls doing the nails were lovely ..."

"I never felt so nice before ..."

"I only came for an hour, but I could have stayed all night ..."

"I had a great time and met a friend who thinks like me ..."

"It was amazing to see all the different cultures mixing together ..."

"I changed my clothes so many times that I forgot what I came in!"

(Quotes from women attending a pamper, craft and clothes swap evening)

"You will always occupy a special place in our lives. You made a difference and we will always remember."

(Refugee woman and daughter, domestic violence victims. We helped to secure a flat near their chosen school.)

"Grace is off oxygen now and has gained weight and now weighs 3lbs! She has just been transferred to Leicester General Hospital so spent just over 3 weeks in Kettering. Thank you so much for helping it really made a difference for her parents while she was in Kettering.  She will still need to spend a lot of weeks in hospital before going home but is doing very well."
