Coronavirus Response: Our ‘Emerge’ course is temporarily suspended until further notice. 

‘Emerge’ is a mentoring programme designed to help individuals to improve their self-esteem, confidence and sense of personal identity. The course is led by trained volunteers with experience in coaching and mentoring and is supported by a team of volunteer mentors who support participants through the duration of the 8-week programme. The course runs on Tuesday afternoons from 12.15-2.15pm.

The course tackles topics such as:

  • Boosting self-esteem
  • Managing negative thinking
  • Valuing self worth
  • Improving communication & assertiveness
  • Handling stress & anxiety
  • Goal setting

The course runs for 8 weeks as a friendly and informal lunch club and alongside valuable teaching offers participants one-to-one mentor support.
