Household Item Donations

We supply families and individuals in need with essential household goods to transform their houses into comfortable homes.

Donated items are given to our guests as received and so we ask that you clean them in advance and only donate items that are in good condition and ready to use. All items must be free from stains or tears. We are currently in need of:

Buy and drop off

We also able to accept donations between 1-5pm on Tuesdays and 3-5pm on Thursdays at our Open Hands Compassion Centre (19 Lower Willow Street, Leicester, LE1 2HP). Please ring the doorbell when you arrive.

You may also find that your Church has a local drop off point.

Buy and have delivered to us

If you’d like to help but don’t have items to donate at home, or simply want to be sure you’re buying exactly what we need, just visit the Give Today website. There, you’ll find a list of our most wanted supplies.

Whether you’re buying one item or one hundred, there’s no minimum order and no delivery charge. Everything is delivered by courier straight to us, and you’ll get a confirmation email once your donation is on its way.
