Our emergency appeal for this month is for Warm Winter Items! and will run throughout October.

We recognise that the winter months can be very difficult for people who are struggling for food and clothing. We see a high demand for blankets and duvets for the home, and sleeping bags and blankets for people who are living on the streets, as well as winter clothing. We are keen to increase our supply of men’s coats and jumpers, as these are popular items in our Essentials Hub each week.

Therefore, we will be collecting the following key items, essential to keeping people warm in the cold months ahead:

• Duvets
• Pillows
• Blankets
• Sleeping Bags
• Men’s Coats and jumpers
• Socks
• Hats
• Scarves
• Gloves

📍 Drop-off locations:

• Open Hands Compassion Centre (LE1 2HP) – Tuesdays (1-5pm) & Thursdays (3-5pm).
• Bring to your One Church site or partner church site.

Arrange delivery direct to our door

If you don’t have these items to donate, but you still want to contribute, you can buy some of them on our Give Today site. They will then deliver them direct to our door and you don’t have to leave your home!
